We are looking for a dedicated person who is a fast learner and physically fit enough to assist our lead masons with cutting, dressing and laying stone.
This person should be proficient and safety conscious when using power tools as well as traditional tools.
The ideal person can expect to work in all weather, lifting, carrying heavy objects, and learning to read technical drawings.
They may assist in texturing and polishing stone, installing dressed stone, mixing cement and mortar and helping restore old and damaged masonry work.
The successful mason helper should have a love for learning, be a good listener, be physically fit and enjoy working with their hands.
Duties:
Maintain a neat and clean workspace for the lead mason assist with mixing cement and mortar learn to read technical drawings lift, carry and place blocks, stones, etc.
