Primus Aerospace is a leading manufacturing partner to aerospace, defense & space OEMs / Primes & Tier I suppliers.
The company specializes in producing high-tolerance, complex geometry parts; machined out of standard and exotic metals.
Primus works directly with all major aerospace manufacturers (e.
g.
, Boeing, Lockheed, Northrop) to provide components to mission critical civilian and defense programs.
Job Purpose:
The CNC Programmer works with machinery that cuts raw materials into functional items.
They are responsible for interpreting blueprints, designing programs, and setting up machines to produce the components outlined in the program.
They are also involved in maintaining, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure that everything is running smoothly.
Salary/Pay Range:
$27.

00/hour CNC Programmer Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Fixture design and creation Tooling selection Create setup sheets and work instructions to hand off programs to operators for production Responsible for creating In Process Inspection Criteria (IPIC) Interfaces with Setup Machinists and Quality Keeps track of current projects and those in queue Partners with manager on project prioritization Collaborates with other programmers Promotes a safe work environment Maintain or improve legacy part quality standards and cycle times with process improvements in accordance to customer and company manufacturing standards, delivery commitments, internal procedures and protocols We offer comprehensive benefits including:

titanium, Inconel, and other exotic alloys Thorough knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and quality standards as it applies to an aerospace and defense environment Strong ability to meet deadlines and achieve goals driven by metrics Willingness to work collaboratively within a team environment Solutions focused Strong work ethic Detail oriented IMPORTANT NOTICE:
